• Community Gardens Input Record - Sample​

We are not asking that every individual seed be counted. Quantities can be recorded in a practical way—for example, 2 × 6‑ft rows, ½ pack, or another reasonable unit that clearly reflects what was planted. Use your discretion, but ensure the information is logical and understandable.

For seedlings or transplants, such as six‑cell packs or flats, quantities can be recorded as 1 six‑pack or x‑unit flat provided the type of plant in the flats or packs is the same.

Using the standardized forms also allows us to build a comprehensive list of organic seed/input suppliers, which will support gardeners in sourcing appropriate organic inputs going forward.
